|Dr. Scott Brown graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1989 and began practicing that year in Kingston. He is happy to offer a wide range of dental treatment including sedation dentistry, including Oral Sedation, and Nitrous Oxide.|
|Dr. Scott Peterson is a general dentist with extensive training and experience in oral implantology. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1986 and subsequently attended hospital internships at St. Joseph's Hospital and the University Hospital in London, Ontario. He is a member of the International College of Oral Implantologists, The Toronto Implant Institute and the Toronto Implant Study Club. He has extensive training in bone augmentation, implant surgery and restorative solutions.|
|Dr. Katherine Majewska graduated from McGill University dental school in 2004. She went on to complete General Practice Residency program in Schenectady, NY in 2005, providing her with additional training in all aspects of dentistry. She joined Meadowbrook Dental Centre that same year, and enjoys providing wide range of dental services including Invisalign and sedation dentistry. She spends her time outside of work with her husband and three young children. She also enjoys reading and gardening.|
|Dr. Dobney is no stranger to Kingston having earned her Bachelor of Science (honours) degree in biology and her Master of Science degree in biochemistry from Queen's University. Dr. Dobney graduated Dentistry in 2010 from the University of Western Ontario and began in private practice right away in Peterborough, Ontario. Dr. Dobney has relocated back to Kingston and began practicing at Meadowbrook Dental in September, 2013. Dr. Dobney is pleased to offer many dental procedures and particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Dobney enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also enjoys knitting and working in her garden.|
|Dr. Valerie McLeod, MD, CCFP (FPA), is a Family Practice Anesthetist, who practises in the hospitals in Kingston and Napanee, in addition to the Kingston Dental Anesthesia Clinic portion of Meadowbrook. She graduated from Medical School at Queen's University in 2006, and completed her Family Practice Anesthesia residency in 2009, also through Queen's University. She took over the role of Medical Director at the Kingston Dental Anesthesia Clinic in 2011, which provides deep sedation and general anesthesia for dental procedures. She is an assistant professor with the Queen's University Departments of Family Medicine and Anesthesiology, and fulfills the role of Enhanced Skills Anesthesia Program Director.|
Sandy has been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She graduated from Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston and worked there for many years. In hospital experience includes post-operative and surgical intensive care with predominantly recovery room experience. Additional areas of practice include dermatology, oral surgeon’s offices, and community nursing with the Victorian Order of Nurses. After twelve years of full-time work in Recovery Room, I have spent the past seven years taking care of predominantly paediatric patients in Meadowbrook Dental’s Anesthesia Clinic.
Judy has been a familiar face at the front desk, serving the patients of Meadowbrook Dental Centre for 25 years.
Carolyn has been with Meadowbrook Dental Centre for 16 years after graduating with honours in Dental Administration, from the Kingston Learning Centre in 1999. Carolyn and her husband enjoy dragon boating with the Kingston Dragon Boat Club and walking their golden retriever. They are members of the Golden Rescue Foundation of Ontario www.goldenrescue.ca.
Gail joined the Meadowbrook Dental Team in 2007 after obtaining a Certificate with Distinction in Windows Application from St. Lawrence College. With over 17 years of providing customer service in both Floral Design and as a Dental Administrator, Gail strives to make your visit with us as pleasant as possible. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown children and her dog.
Dorothy graduated from The Kingston Learning Centre in 2009. She works both with Meadowbrook Dental Centre and Kingston Dental Implant Solutions.
Tanya is a recent addition to our fabulous reception team! She works part time in order to help us out as Judy has gone to part time. Tanya graduated as a Dental Assistant from the Kingston Learning Centre in 2002 and she also went on to complete her Medical Administration Certification in 2007. She is enjoying the friendly atmosphere of our practice and loves to greet patients as they come through the door. She is a very busy Mom to 3 kids and enjoys volunteering at their school in her free time.
Barbara began working with Dr. Peterson as a Dental Assistant in 1988. She entered the dental hygiene program at Durham College and graduated in 1991 and has been a member of the Meadowbrook Dental team since that time. She is a member of KDDHS, ODHA, and CDHO. When she is not working, Barb enjoys Carribean travel in particular Holguin, Cuba. She has a passion for photography and attending her daughter's swim meets.
Chris began working with Dr. Peterson in 1989 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Durham College in 1980. She also is a member of KDDHS, ODHA, CDHO. Her hobbies include triathalons, marathons, and adventurous activities! This year one of her accomplishments was to summit Mount Kilomanjaro along with six others including two Canadian Parathletes. Among her biggest accomplishments are raising her two children along with her husband Michael.
Lyndsey is originally from the Kingston area and she attended both the University of Guelph and Algonquin College in Ottawa, where she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2008. She is a member of KDDHS, ODHA and CDHO. Lyndsey has been with Meadowbrook Dental Centre since 2009. She enjoys spending time outside of work with her husband and 2 daughters.
Jackie has been a Dental Hygienist at our office for 3 years now. She graduated in 2008 from the Canadian National Institute of Health. Jackie loves the part of her job that involves comforting patients through their anxiety and creating a calm environment in the dental chair. Aside from work, Jackie loves to express her creativity with crafting, painting, sewing, crochet and she also loves to spend time with her husband and 2 young children.
Ingrid started her dental career graduating from Dental Assisting from George Brown College in 1990. She immediately went on to graduate from George Brown College in Dental Hygiene in 1992. Although a recent hygienist at our office, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our office. She approaches patient care with individual attention in a comfortable setting. Ingrid enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and 2 teenage sons. She also likes to bike, swim and cook!
Alicia joined the Meadowbrook team in 2016. She graduated from Algonquin College in 2004 with her certificate for Level II Dental Assisting. She practiced in Lyndhurst, Ontario for six years before returning to school for Dental Hygiene. After graduating with honours, she worked for an additional six years in the same practice. Alicia has completed many hours of continuing education and holds Certification as a Temporal Mandibular Assistant. Alicia is a member of the CDAA, CDHO, CDHA, KDDHS and is authorized to self-initiate treatment by the CDHO. When Alicia isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband Mark, daughter Delaney and son Desmond.
Loretta (C.D.A. Level 11) graduated from Toronto School of Business in 1987. Loretta has been with Dr. Scott Peterson and Dr. Scott Brown since 1991. She alternates between Meadowbrook Dental Centre and Kingston Dental Implant Solutions where she is instrumental in assisting with Learning Implant Training Education courses. Loretta hails from Newfoundland and brings her downhome humour to us daily.
Heather (C.D.A. Level 11) joined the Meadowbrook team in 2008. Growing up in Joyceville, she graduated from LaSalle Secondary School in 1999. Heather orginally pursued a career in Interior Design, graduating from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario in 2002. Changing career paths, she studied Dental Assisting and graduated with honours from the The Kingston Learning Centre in 2007. Heather is also a member of The Ontario Dental Assistants Association.
Laura (C.D.A) graduated in Dental Assisting from Ontario Business College in Belleville in 1995. She brings many years experience to our dental team. She has been with Meadowbrook Dental Centre since 2005 and is a current member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association.
Stephanie (C.D.A. Level II) graduated from Kingston Learning Centre in 2015 and joined the Meadowbrook team in 2016. She also graduated from Loyalist College with a Business Administration and Human Resource Management Diploma in 2009. Stephanie is versatile with her skills, you can see her assisting most of the time, but is always willing to help the administrative team.
